McKenzie Gramling
I have 28 years of equestrian background, starting at the fresh young age of three years old. I competed hunters at the local level, obtaining dozens of year end championships and reserve championships. I graduated from College of Charleston in 2012 with a degree in Communication. I rode for the CofC IHSA Equestrian team with Coach Bob Story, where I attended National Finals all four years, and snagged the 2010 Individual National Championship for Novice Flat. After graduating, I spent time in Camden, SC as a working student with Linda Klein, later taking a job with Liza Boyd and the amazing Finally Farm team as an exercise rider and showgroom. I now reside in the Upstate of South Carolina, just a few miles from Tryon, North Carolina; home of the new Tryon International Equestrian Center. My husband, Trey, is the project manager and estimator of a successful commercial concrete company, and together we have a lovely daughter, Camden, and a son, Jack. Growing up, I taught myself how to braid. I always did my own horse, then eventually started to do other kids' horses. I took it upon myself to watch every video available and I practiced every day. Fast forward to now, and I have 7 very successful years under my belt. I have gained knowledge and worked along-side the best braiders in the country and worked with top horses/riders in the country. I took on body clipping 6 years ago and have learned to love it. With well over 3,000 horses body clipped, I am proud to be keeping show horses, retired horses, trail horses, and "pasture ornaments" comfortable and happy. My business has grown and branched out, providing me the opportunity to have many talented braiders and clippers on my team. We look forward to serving you!
